1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Numoura ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and that you consent to these terms on their behalf. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Numoura is an adaptive math learning platform designed for children in grades 2 through 8. The Service provides interactive lessons, practice exercises, progress tracking, and reports. Parent accounts manage child profiles and oversee their learning activity.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity on child profiles you create.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Child Profiles

  • Only parents or legal guardians may create child profiles.
  • By creating a child profile, you consent to Numoura collecting and processing the learning data described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in child profiles.
  • You may delete a child profile at any time, which will permanently remove all associated data.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Numoura, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Create accounts using false or misleading information
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.) without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Numoura — including lessons, questions, illustrations, designs, and software — is owned by Numoura or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without our express written permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Numoura available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Numoura is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we aim to provide accurate and effective educational content, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Numoura is a supplementary educational tool and is not a substitute for formal education.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numoura and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
